Despite having so much to brag about himself, he is still the most down to earth badminton player we have all seen. You won’t believe the kind of humility he showed during a post-match interview in the Malaysia Open 2017. He apologized to everyone (friends) for failing to get them tickets for the Malaysia Open.
During the interview, Lee Chong Wei said, “Before I came here, many people on Facebook asked me to get them tickets to watch the matches. Maybe I really cannot help them out with tickets. I will try my best but the tickets are already sold out. Just now I have asked the organizer and I could no longer buy them. I feel so sorry. Maybe I will come back to Sarawak again where a bigger stadium will be built…. so that more people can come and watch the games in this Super Series badminton tournament.”
